Children and Youth Programs
We welcome children to join us in worship. Two age-appropriate packets are provided for your child’s use. We also offer a nursery, staffed by two adults, for newborns to children age 6 during the service. This nursery is located in our preschool wing and can be found by exiting the sanctuary via the doors to the right of the pulpit. Enter into a hallway taking the third right going down several steps. You will note a quilt on the wall straight ahead. Enter through the fire doors. The Nursery is located to the left. Ms. Zazworsky and Ms. Karl will greet you. Our Welcomers will be delighted to help you locate both the packets and nursery.
“I pray that…Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith,
as you are being rooted and grounded in love.”
From birth to adulthood, children and youth are nurtured and encouraged to explore their faith. Each child and every youth is important and it truly is a blessing to watch them grow. Through out the year we have events and programs to meet the needs of our children and youth, both the need to learn and to have fun. From Sunday School to Summer Vacation Bible School (VBS) to Mission Trips and even a good old fashioned Church Picnic, we strive to include each and every child, teen and adult.
Help us know you and your child better and fill out our registration form. Forms can be turned in at the church office or at any church event. Thank you for helping understand the needs of your child. If you have any confidential concerns please bring them to the attention of our Pastors.
Youth Nurture Opportunities
Sunday Family Worship for Children (age 0 to grade 5)
Families with kids under 12 will encounter stories from the Bible through our “family service” via Zoom at 9 a.m. each Sunday morning. We'll start the year by taking a closer look at the Lord's Prayer.
Based on the successful summer program “The Gospel According to Pixar,” this interactive worship service is designed for families with kids from babies bouncing on a knee to elementary school students. Typically lasting from 20 to 30 minutes, the program features songs, stories and a “show-and-tell” style children’s message. Families can carry the theme into the week with an optional activity.
Youth Sunday School (middle and high school)
Youth in middle school and high school will meet for 30 minutes on Zoom at 7 p.m. each Sunday. The fast-paced, interactive class features animated videos from the Bible Project and cameos by Bitmoji Jesus
